I’ve always known I was here to help animals and the people who love them.
Most dog trainers focus on behavior.
I don't.
That might sound strange coming from someone who has spent more than 15 years
working with dogs and their people,
but here's what I've learned:
Behavior is rarely the whole story.
A dog who won't listen isn't always being stubborn.
A reactive dog isn't trying to make your walks miserable.
An anxious dog isn't choosing to struggle.
More often than not, behavior is information.
It's your dog's way of telling us that something deeper needs attention.
That's why my approach is different.
I don't just look at what your dog is doing.
I look at why they're doing it.
Their health.
Their environment.
Their history.
Their stress levels.
Their relationships.
Their daily routines.
And yes, sometimes I look at the human on the other end of the leash, too.
Because dogs don't exist in a vacuum.
They live in families, routines, relationships, and environments that shape how they experience the world.
And sometimes the training plan is easy.
Getting everyone in the household to follow it is the real challenge.
Because the truth is that dogs don't live in isolation.
They live in families.
When we support both ends of the leash, change happens faster, feels easier, and lasts longer.
More Than a Dog Trainer
Over the years, I've earned certifications in dog training, aromatherapy, Reiki, low-level laser therapy, and other holistic wellness modalities.
But credentials are only part of the story.
What matters most is that I've spent thousands of hours helping real dogs with real challenges.
The anxious dogs.
The reactive dogs.
The dogs who have been through trauma.
The dogs who have been labeled stubborn, difficult, dominant, or "just crazy."
And the wonderful dogs who simply needed a little guidance and a solid foundation from the start.
Every dog has taught me something.
Every family has reminded me that there is no one-size-fits-all solution.
That's why you'll never receive a cookie-cutter training plan from me.
Your dog deserves better than that.

Why Holistic?
Because dogs are whole beings.
If your dog has chronic pain, that affects behavior.
If they're stressed, that affects learning.
If they're overwhelmed, that affects their ability to make good choices.
If they're struggling physically, emotionally, or mentally, no amount of obedience drills will address the root cause.
That's why my work combines training, behavior, and natural wellness.
Not because it's trendy.
Because it works.
When we support the whole dog, everything starts to make more sense.
What It's Like to Work With Me
My clients often tell me the same thing:
"I finally feel like someone understands what's going on."
That's my goal.
Not to judge.
Not to overwhelm you.
Not to make you feel like you're failing your dog.
My job is to help you understand what's happening, create a clear path forward, and support you every step of the way.
Sometimes it means teaching new skills.
Sometimes it means addressing underlying health concerns.
Sometimes it means helping you see your dog through an entirely different lens.
And sometimes it means discovering that the issue isn't nearly as complicated as it first appeared.
Because what looks like stubbornness is often stress, confusion, discomfort, or simply a misunderstanding.
A Few Things I Believe
Behavior is communication.
Trust matters more than control.
Leadership should create safety, not fear.
There is no substitute for understanding.
And every dog deserves to be seen as an individual.

The Bottom Line
If you're looking for someone to teach your dog how to sit,
there are plenty of trainers who can help.
If you're looking for someone who will take the time to understand the whole picture,
uncover what's really going on,
and help you create lasting change
for both you and your dog...you're in the right place.
I'd be honored to help.
